REPORT A
SHOOTING
WHAT TO DO IF SOMEONE IS SHOOTING MONKEYS OR OTHER ANIMALS
IN YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
-
Report the shooting at your local police stations. They will need to visit the shooter and do an investigation.
-
Open a case and lay a charge against the shooter. The police will then issue you with a CRN
-
Report the shooter or incident to Monkey Helpline using the form below so that we can map it and put together patterns of shooters in specific areas
-
If possible, get a photo or video footage of the incident - but only if it is safe to do so. Please do not put yourself in danger of being injured or threatened by the shooter
-
Print and hand out pamphlets in your neighbourhood to inform your neighbours that there is a shooter amongst you. This pamphlet will also inform your neighbours and the shooter that discharging a weapon in a residential area is against the law and that they face criminal charges.
